This project is located at Barog (District Solan) on Chandigarh-Shimla national highway, (Kumar Hatti-Solan bypass), 60 kms from Chandigarh and 50 kms from Shimla.
This project is approved by Special Area Development Authority and Department Of Tourism And Civil Aviation (Himachal Pradesh).
It was originally approved for 24 flats and a 36 room hotel but now we have got an extension to 90 flats and a 36 room hotel, a huge food court, and an amusement park also is considered.
This project was purchased by Sandeep Bhardwaj who paid the full consideration amount to its owner and is now registered in the name of his (Sandeep Bhardwaj’s) firm Barog Highway Resorts Pvt Ltd.
Advantages of this Project:
1. Due to a new policy passed in the Himachal Assembly, a new law has been enacted under which the selling of flats to Non Himachalis has been highly simplified.
2. There is also another notification that gives advantage to this project, that, there will be no new construction of flats in the Solan Municipal Corporation Limit.
3. No new project will be approved on the new (4 Lane) National Highway. The four lane highway work has already started in the February of 2010 and is to be completed before March 2011.
4. Due to the construction of the four lane highway many existing hotels on the national highway got the demolition notice, but this project is out of the area of the new highway which is an added advantage.
